At Next Law, we work together as a team where each individual contributes with their expertise, commitment and experience. As the firm continues to grow, we are looking for new colleagues who want to develop and grow with us and take the Next step in their careers.

A career at Next Law offers an environment where professional development and responsibility go hand in hand. We are committed to creating the right conditions for each lawyer to grow their expertise through high-quality engagements, close collaboration and continuous learning.

You will work independently as a lawyer with us, while collaborating closely with experienced colleagues and partners with deep specialist knowledge across a range of practice areas.

Our way of working provides early client exposure, opportunities to take responsibility in engagements, and a strong platform for building long-term professional relationships. At Next Law, there is real room to shape your own development. You may choose to specialise within one or several areas of law, and we actively encourage initiative and curiosity.

A strong sense of community is an important part of our culture, and we regularly come together in social settings where everyone is an integral part of the team.

For Students

Student Pool

Working in Next Law’s student pool offers a valuable opportunity to gain early insight into life at a business law firm. As a student with us, you will primarily work with administrative tasks, while also having the opportunity to contribute to certain legal matters.

To be considered, you should be enrolled in the Master of Laws programme and have completed at least your first semester. We are looking for students who are detail-oriented, responsible and driven, with a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Through the student pool, you will gain your first practical experience of legal work and the opportunity to get to know our business and ways of working.

Summer Associate

Next Law offers a summer associate position for students who have completed at least five semesters of the Master of Laws programme. Over the course of four weeks, you will take part in the day-to-day work of a business law firm and work closely with our lawyers and partners.

As a summer associate, you will contribute to ongoing matters and gain exposure to several of the firm’s practice areas. The work is varied and provides practical insight into how legal advice is delivered in a commercial environment.

The programme offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills, gain experience from high-level legal work, and get to know Next Law and our way of working.
