Claes heads Next Law's dispute resolution practice. He has more than twenty years of experience in commercial dispute resolution and has been with Next Law since 2018. Previously, he headed the dispute resolution team at another well-known Swedish law firm. He is a skilled litigator with extensive dispute resolution experience before the Swedish general courts as well as Swedish and international arbitration proceedings.

His practice typically involves contractual and other commercial disputes, disputes regarding damages, professional liability matters, and insurance disputes, among others.

He has also continuously served as legal adviser to one of Sweden's two industry associations for real estate agents, and through this day-to-day work he has gained substantial expertise in that area of law.
