About me

Claes is the head of Next’s dispute resolution department. He has more than fifteen years’ experience of primarily commercial disputes and previously worked as a partner at the law firm Fylgia in Stockholm, where he oversaw the firm’s dispute resolution group which consisted of approx. 20 lawyers.

He is an acknowledged, competent litigator with broad experience of disputes in both general courts and in Swedish and international arbitration proceedings.

Typical cases that Claes handles include contractual and tort disputes, IT-disputes, disputes about trade secrets, advisory liability matters and insurance disputes, etc.
